Risk Management - Credit
Learn how credit risk management is performed in Morgan Stanley
Work in one of the following key areas of your choice:
Credit Analysis:
Perform company and industry level financial analysis of Morgan Stanley’s counterparties to assess their creditworthiness
Monitor key news across financial markets and relevant industries
Stress Testing:
Prepare portfolio stress testing analysis of credit risk exposures on lending and derivatives products
Data Analysis and Projects:
Participate in innovative projects related to data analysis, visualization, and process automation
Risk Management - Quantitative
Develop, maintain and monitor the Firm’s market risk models (Value at Risk, Incremental Risk Charge and Comprehensive Risk Measure)
Perform econometric analyses to support methodology development, conduct sensitivity studies, assess the model behavior and stability and perform back tests
Develop models for portfolio analyses purpose, such as credit limit setting and loss reserve
Perform independent review of pricing or risk models used by Morgan Stanley

Provide day-to-day administrative support to Talent Development team

Analyse the financial impact of stressed market conditions
Analyse variances in capital requirements

Identify, measure, and analyse the aggregate portfolio risk in stress scenarios
You have:
Ongoing University study in Economics, Statistics, Maths, Physics, Business Informatics, Social Studies & Languages, or similar fields
Interest in digital banking and wealth management
Open mindedness, good organizational skills and special attention to details with a problem-solving attitude
Ability to work both independently and as a team member with a critical thinker mindset
Advanced Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
SQL knowledge, familiarity with Python or R, knowledge of machine learning concepts, experience with JIRA or visualization tools such as Tableau are also advantages
